Zümra Rezzan İm
Zümra Rezzan İm (born 1 January 2003) is a Turkish karateka competing in the 55 kg division. Competing in kumite, İm represents Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediye Kağıtspor and the Turkey national team. She won the silver medal in the women's 55 kg event at the 2026 European Karate Championships.
Career
İm won the gold medal in the 55 kg event at the Karate 1 Series A tournament held in Salzburg, Austria, from 5 to 7 September 2025. She reached the final after defeating opponents from Belgium, Poland, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy, and won the gold medal by beating her French opponent in the final. Ahead of the 2026 European Championships, the European Karate Federation also noted İm's victory at the 2025 Karate 1 Series A Salzburg event.
At the 2026 Turkish Senior Karate Championships, she won the Turkish title in the 55 kg event while representing Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kağıtspor Kulübü. The same year, according to WKF ranking records, she finished seventh at the Karate 1 Premier League stage in Istanbul and fifth at the Leshan stage.
At the 2026 European Karate Championships held in Frankfurt, Germany, İm reached the final of the women's 55 kg event. In the elimination rounds, she defeated Montenegro's Helena Backović 1–0, Germany's Mia Bitsch 7–5 and Serbia's Tamara Grcić 1–0. In the semi-finals, she defeated Ukraine's Anzhelika Terliuga 4–3 to reach the final. She lost 9–6 to Azerbaijan's Madina Sadigova in the final and won the silver medal.
