Zehra Orhan

Zehra Orhan is a Turkish para taekwondo practitioner. Competing in the K44 classification in the 65 kg division, Orhan won the bronze medal at the European Para Taekwondo Championships held as part of the 2026 European Taekwondo Championships.

Career

Orhan finished third in Turkey in the first competition she entered during her university years. She later continued training in para taekwondo under coach Alper Karbuz. In 2025, she won the women's K44 65 kg event at the para taekwondo national team selection competition held in Ankara and was included in Turkey's squad for the World Para Taekwondo Championships.

In 2026, Orhan won the bronze medal in the 65 kg event at the International Turkish Open Taekwondo Tournament in Antalya. The same year, she was selected for Turkey's women's K44 65 kg squad for the European Para Taekwondo Championships after the national team selection events.

At the European Para Taekwondo Championships held in Munich, Germany, Orhan won the bronze medal in the women's K44 65 kg event. She defeated Italy's Giulia Cassar in the quarter-finals, before losing to Greece's Christina Gkentzou in the semi-finals and finishing third.

Personal life

Orhan is a physical education teacher. Born without the lower part of her left arm, she began taekwondo in adulthood.
