Patrycja Zewar
Patrycja Zewar (born 2003) is a Polish para taekwondo practitioner. Competing in the K44 classification in the 65 kg division, she represented Poland at the 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris and became the first Polish woman to compete in para taekwondo at the Paralympic Games. She won the bronze medal in the women's K44 65 kg event at the 2024 European Para Taekwondo Championships in Belgrade and the silver medal at the 2026 European Para Taekwondo Championships in Munich.
Career
Zewar is from Kargowa and competed for UKS Taekwondo Wolsztyn before later joining OŚ AZS Poznań. She began taekwondo as a child and developed through the club system in Kargowa, Wolsztyn and Kościan.
In March 2024, Zewar secured Poland's quota place for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games at the European Paralympic Qualification Tournament in Sofia, Bulgaria. Two months later, she won the bronze medal in the women's K44 65 kg event at the 2024 European Para Taekwondo Championships in Belgrade, Serbia.
At the 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris, Zewar competed in the women's K44 65 kg event. She lost to Greece's Christina Gkentzou in the round of 16 and was eliminated from the tournament.
In 2025, Zewar won the bronze medal in the women's K44 65 kg event at the Turkish Open Para G-2 tournament in Antalya.
In 2026, Zewar won the silver medal in the women's K44 65 kg event at the European Para Taekwondo Championships in Munich. She defeated Georgia's Mariam Kenkebashvili in the semi-finals and lost to Greece's Christina Gkentzou in the final, finishing as European runner-up.
