What We Archive
Wikibin archives articles that have been deleted from Wikipedia. This content was originally published under open licenses (CC BY-SA and GFDL) by Wikipedia contributors. We believe in preserving knowledge and free speech, but we also respect legitimate copyright claims.
Submitting a Takedown Request
If you believe content on Wikibin infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent with the following information:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- Identification of the material on our site that you claim is infringing, with enough detail so we can locate it (URL preferred)
- Your contact information (address, telephone number, email address)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner

Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification with:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and telephone number
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal court
Response Time
We aim to respond to valid takedown requests within 48-72 hours. Content will be removed or disabled while we investigate the claim.
Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA, we will terminate access for users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
