Adem Arda Özkul
Adem Arda Özkul is a Turkish para taekwondo practitioner. Competing in the K44 classification in the 80 kg and +80 kg divisions, he won the bronze medal in the men's K44 +80 kg event at the European Para Taekwondo Championships held as part of the 2026 European Taekwondo Championships in Munich, Germany. In 2025, he won the bronze medal in the men's 80 kg event at the European Para Youth Games in Istanbul.
Career
Özkul is from Niğde, Turkey. He competed for Turkey in the men's 80 kg event at the 2025 European Para Youth Games held in Istanbul. He won the bronze medal, while Turkey finished the para taekwondo events with 18 medals: four gold, seven silver and seven bronze.
In 2026, Özkul won the men's K44 +80 kg event at the Turkish Para Taekwondo Championships in Ankara while representing EGO Spor Kulübü. The same year, he competed at the U.S. Open Taekwondo Championships in Las Vegas and won the bronze medal in the men's K44 80 kg event.
At the 2026 European Para Taekwondo Championships in Munich, Özkul won the bronze medal in the men's K44 +80 kg event. He defeated Ukraine's Orest Pylpiak in the quarter-finals before losing to Great Britain's Matt Bush in the semi-finals. Bush went on to win the gold medal, while Özkul and Osman Ertürk finished as bronze medallists for Turkey.
