Steven Fogel

Steven Fogel is chairman of Uropharma, a medical device company and Sparrows Capital Ltd, a financial services company. He took on these non executive positions in 2012 and 2013 respectively.
On 1 January 2013 he was appointed as a non-executive board member of the international law firm SJ Berwin.
He has been on the advisory board of the Landon Trusts since 2009
He was until December 2012 London managing partner of the London office of international law firm Dechert LLP.
He is currently an adviser to several not for profit organizations (University of London, Motivation, Freud Museum) .
From 2008 to 2010 he was on the advisory board of CWM, a firm of surveyors.
In his legal career he advised on real estate investment matters.
He represented the British Retail Consortium on the passage of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1995 and was a co-author of PACT, an arbitration scheme for lease renewals. He is a past Chairman and board member of the UK Investment Property Forum (IPF).
He is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and was in 2011 elected as a Fellow of the RSA. He is also an active member of the Anglo American Real Property Institute.
