W. Allen Morris,Chairman and C.E.O. of The Allen Morris Company,is a licensed Real Estate Broker and Mortgage Broker.He holds professional designations such as Certified Property Manager of the Institute of Real Estate Management and the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors(SIOR), and is a past President of the Florida CCIM Chapter (Certified Commercial Investment Member of the Realtors National Marketing Institute.. He also holds the CRE designation (Counselor of Real Estate) of the American Society of Real Estate Counselors and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Positions held
In addition to being an Officer and Director of more than thirty-five different real estate-related companies and President of three charitable Foundations, Mr. Morris is also Past-Chairman and current Advisory Board member of Wachovia Bank of Miami.He is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology,and Harvard Business School.

Allan Morris is a Rotarian, former Chairman of the Florida Chapter YPO (Young Presidents' Organization), currently member of CEO (Chief Executives Organization) and WPO (World Presidents' Organization) and a lifetime senior member of the Orange Bowl Committee. He is a past President of The Miami Club, has served on the National Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the Board of Directors of the Florida Association of Realtors, The Miami Board of Realtors, and many local philanthropic boards.

The Allen Morris Company
The Allen Morris Company is one of the largest developers and managers of office buildings in the State of Florida, completing its 78th development project in Coral Gables, Florida.

Their latest project, a Mediterranean-Revival style office building in the center of Downtown Coral Gables called Alhambra Towers, has won nine awards including "The Best of South Florida -Platinum Award's", “NAIOP 2003 Project of the Year - all categories" and Florida’s “2006 Community Advancement Award for Commercial Project of the Year” awarded by the Developers & Builders Alliance. The company has offices in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Jacksonville. The Allen Morris Company brokers, leases and manages numerous properties all over Florida.

Projects in development
The Ponce de Leon Towers, (the company’s 79th office building development)was inspired by the Santa Eulalia Gothic Cathedral in Barcelona, Spain. The building, slated to be finished in 2010, will be the first L.E.E.D. certified “Green” office space in Coral Gables.

Awards
Allan Morris was presented the American Management Association Awardat the Georgia Institute of Technology for Excellence as the top student in Marketing and Management studies.

He was also awarded the Institute of Human Relations Award given by the American Jewish Committee and the Hickok Award given by the Young Presidents Organization.
