Desmond William Scott (born Auckland 14 May 1953) is a New Zealand businessman, scientist and company director. Early life Scott spent his childhood in Auckland and received his secondary education at and then attended Auckland University. and the world leader in milk meters and animal weighing equipment with annual sales of $125 million) from 1987-2009. Since March 2009 he is Director Seymour Group Limited engaged in Advisory work on acquisitions, divestitures and investment banking. Scott is a fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Directors, a board member of Technology Management Advisory Board, Waikato University, and he has been a director of Industrial Research Ltd (1991-1994).<ref name="Who's"/> Scott was Chairman of New Zealand Agritech Inc. for 14 years. |
