HLZBLZ

HLZBLZ, alternately known as Hellz Bellz, is a streetwear/street-contemporary clothing brand that was born in New York City and raised in Los Angeles.
The brand was founded in 2005 by Creative Director Lanie Alabanza-Barcena (aka Miss Lawn) and Co-Founder Bam Barcena. HLZBLZ started off as a hobby, as a result of Miss Lawn’s creative frustration during her time as the Art Director for Rocawear Junior’s.
HLZBLZ's name derives from the AC/DC song "Hells Bells" which Lanie personally-related to in an interview with the online blog, "MISSBISH".
The brand caters to the hip hop and punk culture as well as the youth culture simultaneously. Although the line was created and is curated by females and for females, the silhouettes and aesthetic of the brand can be viewed as gender neutral. HLZBLZ serves as a platform for artistic expression through the means of fashionable streetwear. Over the past decade, HLZBLZ has established itself among the mainly male-dominant streetwear community, rising above and providing cut-and-sew, graphic tees and more to men and women alike.
