C. Wonder, LLC is a women’s fashion and housewares retailer developed by entrepreneur and investor J. Christopher Burch. The company sells colorful, affordable products including clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories, home decor, housewares, gadgets, electronics and gifts. C. Wonder specializes in classic items updated with bold colors and patterns.
The C. Wonder flagship store opened in New York’s Soho neighborhood in October 2011. C. Wonder stores opened in White Plains, New York (The Westchester) and Paramus, New Jersey (Westfield Garden State Plaza) in November 2011, and a store in Garden City, New Jersey (Roosevelt Field Mall) followed in December. Summer pop-up shops cropped up for the 2012 summer in and Nantucket, as well as store openings in Newport Beach, CA (Fashion Island), Atlanta, GA (Lenox Square) and the newly proclaimed Flagship in New York, NY at Time Warner Center.

Prior to developing C. Wonder, J. Christopher Burch was a co-founder and strategic investor in multiple luxury and lifestyle brands, including Eagle’s Eye, Aliph (), the Faena Hotel + Universe, Powermat Technologies, Tory Burch, Monika Chiang and .
The Brand
C. Wonder is one of several brands developed by entrepreneur and investor J. Christopher Burch, founder and CEO of Burch Creative Capital. The Burch Creative Capital portfolio also includes luxury brand Monika Chiang; forthcoming brands include sportswear line Electric Love Army and the lifestyle concept No. 9 Christopher.
The “C.” in C. Wonder stands for customer, and the brand has built its business around this approach. The vibrantly colored, brightly lit stores are designed to engage shoppers with cheerful music selected by a house DJ and dressing rooms outfitted with customizable music and lighting options.
Signature products include costume jewelry, especially bangles, vintage-inspired bicycles in bright colors and neons, preppy women’s clothing, and personalized gifts. Stores offer an extensive monogramming program that includes apparel, tote bags and home items.
