Konstantinos Dimitropoulos
Konstantinos Dimitropoulos (; born 31 August 2004) is a Greek taekwondo practitioner. Competing primarily in the 54 kg and 58 kg divisions, he won the bronze medal in the men's 54 kg event at the 2023 European Games, the silver medal in the men's 54 kg event at the 2024 European Taekwondo Championships and the bronze medal in the men's 58 kg event at the 2026 European Taekwondo Championships.
Career
Dimitropoulos represented Greece from the cadet and junior age categories. In 2018, he won the bronze medal in the 41 kg event at the European Cadet Championships. In 2021, he won the bronze medal in the 55 kg event at the European Junior Championships in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He defeated Ibrahim ben Ahmed Torkhani in the round of 16 and Rynald Saal in the quarter-finals before losing to Jorge Martínez Acevedo in the semi-finals.
In 2023, Dimitropoulos finished fifth in the men's 54 kg event at the 2023 World Taekwondo Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan. He defeated Egypt's Youssef Mansour and Yahor Kazlou, who competed under the World Taekwondo flag, before losing to South Korea's Park Tae-joon in the quarter-finals. Later that year, he won the bronze medal in the men's 54 kg event at the 2023 European Games in Krynica-Zdrój, Poland. In the medal bout, he defeated Sweden's Marwan 2–1 and became one of Greece's taekwondo medallists at the Games.
At the 2024 European Taekwondo Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, Dimitropoulos won the silver medal in the men's 54 kg event. He defeated Yones Darid Aulaqi, Milan Molle and Maksym Manenkov on his way to the final. In the gold-medal match, he lost to Turkey's Furkan Ubeyde Çamoğlu and finished as European runner-up.
In 2025, Dimitropoulos competed in the 58 kg division. He won the gold medal at the Albania Open, where Greece finished the tournament with nine medals. He also competed at the 2025 World Taekwondo Championships in Wuxi, China, reaching the round of 16 in the men's 58 kg event. The same year, he won the bronze medal in the 58 kg event at the 2025 World U21 Taekwondo Championships in Nairobi, Kenya.
At the 2026 European Taekwondo Championships in Munich, Germany, Dimitropoulos won the bronze medal in the men's 58 kg event. He defeated N'Gaidé of France 2–0 and Szelin of Hungary 2–1 to reach the semi-finals. In the semi-final, he lost 2–1 to Italy's Abderrahman Touiar and finished third.
