Vimal Bafana

Vimal Bafana is author of book A Critical Study of Akhyanakamanikosa. She comes from an orthodox marwadi family from a small village of Muktainagar in Maharashtra. With her strong urge to excel in studies she has completed her entire education after her marriage.
She has done B.A. in music (vocal), M.A. and doctorate in Prakrit from university of Pune. She is associated with teaching with department of Sanskrit and Prakrit language os university of Pune as a visiting faculty and also delivers lectures to the American students for the Summer Prakrit Language Program with American institute of Indian studies. She was secretary and lecturer with Sanmati Teerth, which is an institution of Prakrit and Jainology studies in Pune.
The author is very grateful to the Professor R.P. Potdar who is her Guru and Mentor without whos guidance this work would not have been possible.
