William Brandon Snyder

William Snyder is an Associate Professor and Head of the Linguistics Department at the University of Connecticut. He received his Bachelors degree from MIT, and his Ph.D from Joint Doctoral Program in Linguistics and Cognitive Science there.
Since 2003 he has been co-editor of Language Acquisition: A Journal of Developmental Linguistics. He is also the author of more than fifty publications on children's acquisition of syntax, semantics, phonology, and morphology. His book Child Language: The Parametric Approach was recently published by Oxford University Press.
He has additionally been affiliated with Haskins Laboratory, and the Department of Psychology at the University of Connecticut, and visiting faculty at the Linguistics Institute of Stanford University .
