Easteighteen

Easteighteen is a hard rock band based in Iowa City, Iowa.
Forged in 2001 by five students from The University of Iowa, Easteighteen began a nationwide effort to deliver music to the masses with a musician’s appeal.
In early 2003, Easteighteen released a five-song EP, Anathema, and embarked on a six-week West Coast tour playing venues in major cities including Los Angeles, Seattle, and Las Vegas, selling thousands of albums along the way. In 2005, Easteighteen recorded a new, full-length album, In the Event that You're Right, produced by Tom Tatman (producer for Stone Sour/Corey Taylor of Slipknot). The album helped secure a Budweiser True Music sponsorship as well as a distribution deal with retail chain Hot Topic. Two songs from the album became the most requested on XM Radio’s Unsigned Network, while others are being spun on numerous college stations spanning from the Midwest to California.
Sharing the stage with national acts such as Hinder, Buckcherry, , Drowning Pool, Black Stone Cherry, Fair To Midland (2009-04-04), and others, easteighteen continues to captivate fans across the United States..
The group had been competing in the 2007 Bodog Battle , but had to withdraw because inclement weather halted the band's journey from Iowa City to Madison, WI. Talks of a second full-length studio album have surfaced, but nothing has been confirmed to date.
