Erie Bell

The Erie Bell is an old railroad car bell made by the Erie Railroad that is tied to the Erie Bell Game. The Erie Bell game is played each year in Elmira, NY in mid-to-late October. The high school football game is between two of Elmira's public high schools: Elmira Free Academy and Southside High School. The winner of the game retains the Erie Bell for one year in their school and bragging rights across the city.

Prior to each school getting their own homefields, the two teams used to share Dunn Field as their homefield.

* All Time Series Record - EFA 31, Southside 22, ties 1
* 2007 - Southside 41, EFA 13 (at SHS)
* 2006 - EFA 26, Southside 15 (at EFA)

I think they shared "Parker Field", not Dunn Field. Dunn Field is where the Elmira Pioneers used to play.
