Tarik Kuzucu (born April 21, 1987 in Würzburg, Germany) is a German High School teacher and professional martial artist. Since 2009 he is a world champion in full-contact kickboxing (WKA), in April 2013 he opened True Martial Arts Schools. Kuzucu learned martial arts on an international level. He studied several martial arts styles, particularly Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Taekwondo and Wing Chun. His fighting career started at the age of 16. Within the same year he became vice-world-champion at the WKA Amateur World Championships in Toronto for Kickboxing and Muay Thai. After his amateur rank as German champion in Muay Thai (WKA) he entered a professional fighting career. In 2009, Kuzucu won the WKA World ProAm title after winning against the former title holder Richard Pedro from France. Up until 2011, he fought 247 bouts in 16 disciplines (e.g. Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, MMA) and in 13 countries. 53 were professional fights with 47 wins, 23 via KO.
