Dynamic Martial Arts

Dynamic Martial Arts (DMA) is a mixed martial arts system founded by Bong Kim in 1976. Its main influences include the martial arts of Taekwondo, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Hapkido (Korean combat style jujitsu) and Judo.
Grandmaster Bong Kim travelled throughout Asian for competitions against famous martial art fighters. During subsequent years, he took on all challengers, resulting in fights with 150 different people. He was one of the first generation mixed martial art fighters in Korea.
After many fights, he realized that traditional martial arts were not enough for a self-defense.
Today, DMA combines techniques and principles from a variety of Martial Arts including Taekwondo, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Hapkido, Judo and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.
The fighting system includes strikes, kicks, escaping, choking, takedowns, throws, ground fighting, pressure points attack and joint locking techniques.
Now, DMA Global headquarters is in Buford, Georgia, USA at the Dynamic Martial Arts Academy, where "Jae Gu Kim" is the head instructor.
