Zingano BJJ

Zingano BJJ (Zingano Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai Kick Boxing and team with academies located in Colorado and Kansas. Zingano BJJ is an affiliate academy of Black House MMA and together they form "Team Zingano - Black House MMA, Colorado".
History
Zingano BJJ was founded in 2004 by Brazilian Jiu Jitsu 3rd degree Black Belt Master Mauricio Zingano, husband of Cat Zingano. The original Zingano BJJ Academy was located in Westminster CO but moved in 2006 to a 6,000sq feet facility in Broomfield CO. A second location opened in Brighton, CO in 2011 and an affiliate academy opened in Dodge City, Kansas in 2012.
Team members
As a competition team, Zingano BJJ has won 10 State titles and 4 National titles among many other accolades. It has produced many top MMA fighters such as "Malignant" Matt Simms and J Kev Hernandez. Team Zingano - Black House MMA is one of the largest academies in the state with over 400 members and offers classes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Mixed Martial Arts and Women's Only Fitness Boot Camp.
* Mauricio Zingano - Mauricio Zingano is the founder of Zingano BJJ. He began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the age of 16. He had various trainers throughout his career including Rickson Gracie and Royce Gracie. He was a former instructor at the Gracie Jiu Jitsu Academy where he earned a 7th degree Red & Black Belt under master Helio Gracie. He competed in several local and national BJJ events winning the majority of them over the years. He is undefeated in MMA and No Holds Bared fights.
* Sakmongkol Sithchuchok - Sakmongkol Sithchuchokis a Thai super middleweight Muay Thai-kickboxer. Sakmongkol is known as one of the legendary Muay Thai fighters of all time, defeating other Muay Thai greats as Ramon Dekkers, Danny Bill, Perry Ubeda, John Wayne Parr, Jongsanan Fairtex and many others. He joined Zingano BJJ in 2011 as the head Muay Thai instructor.
* Mark Beecher - Beecher is a Muay Thai instructor with over 60 fights and was also a coach on The Ultimate Fighter Season 7. He joined Zingano BJJ in 2013 as a coach.
* Cat Zingano - Cat is an American mixed martial artist and who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Zingano made her pro MMA debut on June 13, 2008, and submitted Karina Taylor with an armbar in the first round. She won championship titles in three of her first four pro fights.
* Randi Miller - Miller is an American wrestler, who competed in the 63 kg weight class at the 2008 Summer Olympics and won a bronze medal. She has now made a transition to Mixed Martial Arts. Miller joined the team in 2011 as a wrestling coach.
