Cyprus Music Academy Awards

A Cyprus Music Academy Award (CMAA) is an accolade by the Cypriot Academy of Music to recognize outstanding Artists, Albums, Songs and Videos. The annual presentation ceremony airs online, as a web-show. It is the most viewed award show in Greece and in Cyprus
The 1st Cyprus Music Academy Awards aired online live on December 23, 2002 with 100k viewers. The 5th CMAA broke the record having a total 110,000 viewers online making the live stream slower.

Critics
Critics are most positive, but CMAA received negative reviews. Most of them, support that this isn't a "Cypriot" music award, that awards Cypriot music and artists but international music artists, so the award shouldn't be called "Cyprus Music Academy Awards".

* Lady Gaga is the only artist to win the big four in a single night.
* Madonna became the oldest winner at the 4th Cyprus Music Academy Awards when she won the awards Album and Artist of the Year. Later that night she was awarded with the Legend Award.
* Britney Spears is the youngest recipient of the Legend Award.
* Chris Brown is the youngest winner of the CMAA.
* Chris Brown is the only male winner of the Best New Artist award.
