Sammy Gordon Hill (born 2 December 1980 in Ascot) is a footballer who played as a Midfielder for Chester City, Otago United and the Laredo Heat. Career Sam Hill was a regular for Chester City at the start of the 2001-2002. He had previously made an appearance for the club in the Pontins League in 1999-2000 when Ian Atkins was manager but was not retained. He made his first full debut in the seasons opening game against Woking and went on to make 13 appearances scoring 1 goal against Nuneaton borough. A former junior with Crewe Alexandra, Hill also played for Buxton in the Northern Counties East. After leaving Chester he briefly joined Droylsden. He also briefly played for Otago United and the Laredo Heat He is the son of Manchester United great Gordon Hill.
