Susannah Ticciati is a theologian and at present a lecturer at King's College London in Systematic Theology where she has taught in the department since 2005. Educated at Peterhouse, Cambridge, Ticciati studied Mathematics before switching to Theology and Religious Studies. She completed her PhD specialising in the theology of Karl Barth and Book of Job at both the University of Cambridge and the University of Gottenburg respectively. In 2004, she returned to Selwyn College, Cambridge as a Research Fellow. Ticciati grew up in West London. Her father is a barrister and her mother is a therapist. Along with her brothers, Ticciati is a talented violinist. She is the sister of conducter Robin Ticciati. And her paternal grandfather was a composer and arranger.
