Darren Stanley

Darren Stanley (born 1969) a professor of education teaches in the Faculty of Education at the University of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He is the author of several papers in a number of Academic journals , including Complicity: An International Journal of Complexity and Education , Journal of Curriculum Theory (JCT) , For the Learning of Mathematics (FLM) , and the Innovation Journal . He works in the area of complex dynamical systems and healthy learning organizations.
Career
Born in Amherst, Nova Scotia, he began his academic studies at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. He continued his studies with an M.Sc. at Simon Fraser University in the areas of the history and philosophy of mathematics under the direction of Dr. Len Berggren. He entered the teaching profession upon completing the Professional Development program at Simon Fraser University. Under the supervision of Dr. Brent Davis, Darren completed a PhD in Secondary Education from the University of Alberta.
Darren Stanley is currently the Editor of the "Journal of Teaching and Learning" and Book review Editor of "Complicity: An International Journal of Complexity and Education .
