Dr. Adam Ozanne, Ph.D., is an author and senior lecturer in economics at the University of Manchester. He graduated from Queen Elizabeth College, London, in 1975 with a Bachelors degree in Physics and Astronomy. He subsequently studied nuclear astrophysics at Oxford before traveling to Asia and the Pacific, working for ActionAid with regards to Third World development. In 1984 he earned a Masters Degree in Rural Development from the University of East Anglia. In 1985 he joined Manchester University where he received his PhD. In 1989 Dr. Ozanne became a lecturer in agricultural economics and achieved Senior Lecturer status two years after the dawn of the new millennium. Latterly, Ozanne teaches an Introductory Mathematics course to first-year undergraduate students. He also lectures on three postgraduate courses: Microeconomics, Population Studies, and Agricultural Development. He has published 13 journal articles and book chapters about his field in agricultural and environmental policy. His book "Perverse Supply Response in Agriculture : The Importance of Produced Means of Production and Uncertainty" (ISBN-13: 9781856283755) was published in 1992.
