Spoletorp

Spoletorp is an international student residence in the center of Lund, Sweden. It was built in 1998 by Ulf Kadefors. Lund University is the Landlord of the housing complex. The housing complex consists out of 32 corridors with a total of 125 rooms. There are many shops, restaurants, cafes and banks in walking distance. The distance to the city centre is approximately 500m.
Most students residing in Spoletorp are international. It is one of the most expensive residences for students , due to its central location and amenities (a small fridge, sink, and microwave in each individual room, in addition to a private shower and toilet). Each floor has a communal kitchen and lounge / TV area. Free laundry facilities in the basement are available but must generally be booked in advance due to high demand.
Lund's central rail station is just south of the Spoletorp building. The seven storey building does not have any park or green open space directly attached to it.
On Anzac Day, a formal commemorative service is held on the rooftop of Spoletorp, including bible-reading studies.
