Teknologkollegiet

Teknologkollegiet is a four-story dormitory building located 4 km from the campus of Aarhus University at Ellemarksvej 64 in Aarhus, Denmark. The building includes housing on the upper floors for international students at Aarhus University, and on two lower floors for students attending Aarhus Technical College. The building was designed in 1967 as part of a technical college complex by Danish architect Christian Frederik Møller, one of the original designers of the university. In 1994, the building was incorporated into Aarhus University to address the increased housing needs for foreign exchange students entered in the ERASMUS programme. Teknologkollegiet is one of 22 residence halls at the university.
Teknologkollegiet consists of four floors with each floor divided into northern and southern wings. Rooms located in the southern wings include private bathrooms, while the ones in the northern wing share the bathroom and showers. Kitchen facilities are shared. The northern wing of the ground floor houses the administration offices, kitchen and dining room. Special facilities such as dancing floor, ping-pong table and a small gym are located in the basement.
