Shaun Rawls

Shaun Rawls is a real estate entrepreneur, author and speaker.
Early life and career
Shaun was born in Jonesboro, Ga on August 7, 1969 and is the son of parents William Edgar Rawls and Karen Ruth Coughlan. He graduated from Jonesboro Senior High School in 1987 and attended Georgia Institute of Technology from 1987 to 1991, receiving a BS in Industrial Management. While in college, Shaun worked for the Georgia Tech tennis program and began teaching tennis, and he became the assistant coach for the GT women’s tennis team before graduating. In 1993, he joined Re/Max, where he worked and met his first wife, Jean M. Jasen. In 1999 Shaun and his wife, Jean, opened the first Keller Williams Realty franchise in Georgia, in the city of Sandy Springs. Shaun was instrumental in the growth of the company as a successful operator of Keller Williams franchises. He became a Master Faculty trainer for Keller Williams and trained thousands of agents and leaders within the company, all over the U.S. In 2010, Shaun became co-owner of the New York Tri-State Region for Keller Williams and where his influence on Keller Williams’ growth continued until he sold his interest in the region to his partner in 2015. Shaun was a founding member of the Board of Directors for KW Cares. He served on the Board of Directors until 2013.
Shaun has been named a Top 50 Broker in the United States by Real Trends and recognized as one of Swanepoel Power’s 200 most powerful people in the real estate industry, among others. His offices consistently rank among the top producing offices for Keller Williams in the world. Shaun and Jean divorced in 2013. He married his second wife, Jeri McDonnell Moran, in 2015. Shaun is a step-father to Jeri’s children, Jacob Ian Moran, born June 2, 2007, Andrew Hansen Moran, born October 11, 2008 and Sarah Dylan Moran, born August 27, 2010. Shaun stepped away from his leadership roles in Keller Williams in 2014 and started Rawls Consulting with Jeri in 2015, a consulting and real estate focused investment company. He is an investor/partner in 17 Keller Williams offices in Georgia, Florida and Alabama. In 2019 Shaun wrote and published a children’s book with Sarah Moran, “Stella the Starfish.” It is a story about a bold and curious starfish who finds a way to see first hand what life above the water is like. In 2021, his book “F-IT-LESS” (18 F Words to Reframe and Repurpose Your Life) was published by Forefront Books. F-IT-LESS is a self-improvement book, focused on helping readers live better lives by offering strategies and insights to architect the life you want, rather than accepting the life you’ve got. It’s filled with lessons learned about clarity, focus, simplification, resilience, faith, perspective and more, and it’s message is equally powerful for living your best business life as it is for living your best personal life. Shaun and his wife Jeri live in Atlanta, Georgia.
