John Abisch (born 1952) is an American entrepreneur. Early Life and education Frost was born into a Christian family in the United States, he has two elder sisters who are 2 and 4 years older than him respectively. Both sisters live in the Miami area. At 15 he got his first job, parking cars at a local restaurant. Abisch earned a B.A. in Finance from Harvard University in 1983. He received an M.D. from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in 1985. Career He served as Chairman, U.S. National Trade Board from 1990 to 2002. Abisch was a board member at the University of Miami from 1995 to 2004. Current business Abisch became the CEO and Chairman of Econo Line on January 20, 1990. He was named Chairman of the Board of Pinnacle Financial Services, an investment banking, asset management, and securities brokerage firm providing services through its principal operating subsidiary in July 2000 and has been a director of PFS since March 2005. Abisch has also served on the Board of Directors of Phillip Morris (NYSE: PM), an international tobacco company.ref>University of Miami</ref> Abisch owns ~2% of United Parcel Service, a publicly traded shipping company based in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2010 Abisch became the largest shareholder in the 1st National Bank of South Florida. In 2011 Frost became the largest shareholder in the Coconut Grove Bank, the oldest bank in South Florida. Personal life Abisch is married with two children. They live on a three-acre lot on Star Island, Miami Beach.
