Peter Petropanagos

Peter Petropanagos (April 5, 1985) is a Canadian soccer player who currently plays for Brampton Lions in the Canadian Soccer League.
Career
Youth career
Petropanagos began playing soccer at the youth level with Dixie S.C. from 1995-2002, where he led Dixie to become consecutive League Champions from 1996 through 2002. Also helped Dixie claim several youth Ontario Cups. In 2004 Petropanagos was drafted by Franklin Pierce College, where in his junior year at Franklin Pierce he was named an ESPN All American and also named to the New England All Conference team. From 2005-2007 Petropanagos help Franklin Pierce become New England Conference champions, where in 2007 he was appointed senior captain. During the off season Petropanagos played with the Ottawa Fury in the USL Premier Development League in 2006. Where he helped Ottawa win six of their last eight games, but their late run towards the playoffs ended in vain, where they finished the regular season second in the division, and failed to secure the post-season wild-card slot.
Professional career
Petropanagos began his professional career with the North York Astros in 2007. In his first season with the Astros Petropanagos contributed by starting in every game and helping the team clinch a playoff spot. And he also helped the Astros set an all time record for most points and wins in a season. But unfortunately during their playoff run the Astros were eliminated by the Serbian White Eagles in the quarterfinal match, with the game ending 2-1 in favor of the White Eagles.
Brampton Lions
In the CSL 2009 season Petropanagos was transferred to the Brampton Lions, where he was obtained from a 3 way deal involving Portugal FC and the Astros.
Coaching career
He is an Head Coach of the Winstars Soccer Academy.
