Daniel Nascimento (born 26 February 1987 in Mississauga ) is a Canadian-born of Portuguese descent, soccer player who currently plays for the Brampton Lions in the Canadian Soccer League. Career Daniel has started in three reserve games for Toronto FC and scored once. The CSL MVP and leading goal scorer is presently training with Toronto FC, in his first inner squad game Nascimento showed his scoring ability with 2 goals, as his team won 2-0. Nascimento lead the Brampton Lions in 2008 with 18 goals in 18 games and become the youngest CSL player to win the MVP honor. Growing up Nascimento played in the Brampton youth system as well as Dixie S.C.. On May 14, 2009 the Brampton Lions re-signed Nascimento for the 2009 season.
