Laith Salim

Laith Salim (born June 26) is an American film and television actor. He has worked on many Mainstream films, Indie films, short films, as well as Art House films. Laith has stared along side the likes of Hilary Swank, Robert De Niro, Minnie Driver, Tony Goldwyn, and Val Kilmer.
Laith began acting at the age of 10 in school plays, and local theater projects, including Happy Birthday, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, and The Wizard of Oz. It wasn't until January 2009, on the set of Convection, did he start his film career. That year, Laith had also appeared in The Irishman, Acts of Contertion, and Presumption. Laith gained recognition and popularity among the Detroit film makers.
The Bitch is Back (a Detroit Windsor International Film Festival (DWIFF) 48 hour film challenge) was the first project he had done in 2010. The film won many award including "Audience Favorit. Other projects include Detroit Unleaded (2010) and As a Whole (2010) (both in post-production).
Currently, Laith is attending college as a theater major, and is also working on many other film projects in the Detroit community.
Although Laith is only in the start of his film career, one may infer that, with such talent, drive, and dedication, Laith may be on his way to Hollywood!
