Aryana farshad

Aryana Farshad was born in Tehran, Iran, in an highly educated and powerful family. She moved to Paris, France at early age and studied French language and literature at La Sorbonne, followed by film studies at L'I.D.H.E.C film school. She return to her native country of Iran for a few years where she worked with major Iranian and western film makers including two times Academy Award winning French director Alber Lamorisse.

She moved to Los Angeles, attending USC film department and later joined Editor's Guild and worked for major Hollywood studios including MGM studios and Columbia in television post-production.

For many years, Aryana worked with major Hollywood production houses and studios as Associate Producer and post-production supervisor.

In 2000, she travelled back to her native country Iran to come back with rare footage which was based for creating the award winning documenary film Mystic Iran, the Unseen World. Mystic Iran, narrated by Academy Award Nominee Iranian actress Shohreh Aghdashloo, went to be acknowledged and awarded at many film festivals and won "Audience Favorite Award", Noor Film Festival.

Age of Awakening, narrated by Omid Djallili, is her second documentary film on Iran.

in 2008, Aryana added two more awards; Telly & Davey Awards to her credits for directing and cutting a short film.
