Tyler Funk

Tyler James Funk (born February 14, 1988) is a Canadian film director, and writer, best known for his independent short films.
Biography
Early life
Tyler was born in Vancouver, but grew up in the small resort town of Banff, Alberta. There he gained a passion for the arts and began experimenting with the medium of film.
Personal life
Tyler has a consistent record of losing at board games (especially The Settlers of Catan) and is therefore often referred to as the 'loser'.
Career
Once he graduated from High school Tyler moved to Vancouver in order to pursue a career in filmmaking. After completing a Film Arts certificate at the Langara College in 2009 he continued his education at the University of British Columbia where he is currently on his last year working on a BFA in Film Production.
On the summer of 2010 he wrote and directed . The film is currently in post production and is expected to be released within the year.
His best known film is FTW, a film about how success is achieved if you keep your eye on the prize, starring Rebecca Sorensen and Katherine Sorensen. This film has gone to several film festivals including the Whistler International Film Festival, Calgary International Film Festival and Edmonton International Film Festival.
Now, he is finishing his final thesis project entitled ', and working on writing a new feature film.
