Jammer Direct is a social networking website with its primary focus on the artistic and music scenes of the Midwestern United States, , a software developer from Fort Wayne, Indiana. Jammer Direct is also a community portal for people to use to promote whatever music, artwork, or creative product they wish to promote. History to create a profile and upload their creative products. JamMedia acts similar to YouTube in that users can upload videos and get an embed code to attach the video on any other website they want. The site has since expanded in less than a year to include JammerStream (an internet on demand playlist that Jammers can upload their MP3s and add to the stream cue). Jammer Profile (User Pages) Every user is referred to as a Jammer. Every Jammer has a personal page at the URL http://www.jammerdirect.com/username , where username is replaced by their username. This page may list the user's name, physical attributes, interests, hobbies, experience, and so forth. It also exhibits the user’s embedded media, blog, links, and other Jammers they are friends with. Jammer of the Month Every month a Jammer of the Month is selected from among the members of Jammer Direct. The site then gets redressed to feature that particular Jammer to promote them throughout the website. This includes custom graphics, the splash screen, and a page that features the member as Jammer of the Month. The Jammer gets final approval on the Jammer of the Month page content. JamMedia Jammer Direct includes a Video on Demand service similar to YouTube. Video length varies JammerStream JammerStream is a 24/7 internet on-demand audio stream which features uploaded music from Jammers in the mp3 format. It is regulated to original material from the artists. Members can upload their original mp3 formatted music to be streamed once approved. The stream is in a multi-format that can be played in different players as well as the default flash player. In November, 2010, Jammer Direct rebranded JammerStream into JammerStream One and added The Dirty Dozen premiered on November 18 and includes the top ten songs based on Total Listening Hours and has Heavy Young Heathens and Young MC. Live video streaming Beginning in September 2008 Jammer Direct began live video streaming media broadcasts of performances on its website beginning with "Deuce: Live @ the Latch". Jammer Direct expanded its streaming in 2009 to include Unsigned Live, an online concert series where the internet users can vote and chat with the audience as well as submit requests for the artists on stage. The streams were broadcast in 480p HD.
