Jagjit Kaur

Dr. Jagjit Kaur is Director of Youth Welfare and head of the Youth Welfare Department, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Youth Welfare Department organizes University Zonal, Inter-zonal Youth Festivals, Youth Leadership Training, Hiking and Trekking Camps, Inter-State Tours, coaching camps and prepares teams for participation in North Zone Inter-University and All-Indian National Inter-University Youth Festivals and other Inter-University competitions organized by Punjab Government/D.P.I.(Colleges) Punjab and different state Universities.
Career
Jagjit Kaur served as lecturer in Punjabi at BBK DAV College, Amritsar and then as Principal of Guru Har Rai Sahib College, Chabbewal affiliated with Panjab University, Chandigarh. He acted as a lecturer and was additionally appointed as an NCC Officer.
He acted in television shows of Doordarshan Kendra, Jalandhar, such as Bhaagan Walie and talk shows including Sanji Satth and Panj Waje live. Kaur is also associated with Punjab Natshala, Amritsar. She is currently Director Youth Welfare, GNDU and elected Executive member Officers Association of GNDU.

* Runners Up Trophy at National Unifest 2010 held at Maharishi Dayanand University,Rohtak from 2-6 February 2010
* Championship Trophy of North Zone Unifest 2010 held at Maharishi Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra from 16-20 November 2009.
