Daniel Street was an adviser to the former Australian Foreign Minister, Kevin Rudd, and a former federal political correspondent for Channel Nine. Education Daniel received his secondary education at Saint Ignatius' College, Riverview. He graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney in 2002 with a degree in journalism. In 2009 he attended the University of Cambridge on a Chevening Scholarship where he studied for a Masters of Philosophy in Development Studies. Working life Media Daniel was a federal political correspondent for Channel Nine's National Nine News Public service In 2010 the former Prime Minister, and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Kevin Rudd, appointed Daniel one of his adviser's in the area of aid and development. Awards Street was awarded the 2009 the National Press Club Young Achiever Award in 2009 for his reporting. He is the recipient of an Order of Australia Association, NSW Branch, Commendation for his youth work.
