MobileIron, Inc. provides mobile device management and security to large enterprises. History MobileIron was founded in 2007 by Ajay Mishra, Suresh Batchu and Bob Tinker. Ajay Mishra had previously founded Airespace, which was acquired by Cisco in 2005. The company has raised over $50 million in funding from Sequoia Capital, Norwest Venture Partners, Storm Ventures and Foundation Capital. MobileIron began shipping its products in late 2009. MobileIron is headquartered in Mountain View, California, and has offices in the Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom, Japan, China, Singapore and Hyderabad, India. The company opened new development office in Bellevue, WA sometime in fall of 2012.
