Jaco van Rensburg

Jaco van Rensburg (born December 26, 1981) is a South African actor, dancer and singer.
Background and Performing Credits
Van Rensburg was born in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, the son of Elizabeth Helena van Rensburg (Van Zyl) and Cornelius Johannes van Rensburg.
Van Rensburg's parents moved to the small Namakwaland town of Vanrhynsdorp in 1987 where he went to school. He went on to graduate with honors in Musical Theatre (majoring in choreography and singing) from Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria, Gauteng.
After moving to Johannesburg, Van Rensburg earned his stripes in the local booming theater scene with roles in numerous Musical Theatre productions, including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats, for Pieter Toerien Productions Chicago and Rent for Showtime Management and Thoroughly Modern Millie for Joburg Theatre
Van Rensburg has also formed part of numerous international touring companies, including Grease, Showboat, Disney's High School Musical and Jersey Boys. touring extensively to the East and Europe.
Creative Experience
Van Rensburg has also worked extensively as part of the creative team. Highlights include Resident Director on The Vertical Hour and Fings Ain't Wot They Use T'Be. Choreographic credits include Hot Mikado, Cinderella - the Pantomime and Back to the 80s.
