Datta Kondiba Mirkute

Datta Kondiba Mirkute is an Indian film Director whose debut film in Marathi titled PREM SANKAT was released all over Maharashtra on 14 October 2016.
He was born in Koklegaon, District Nanded, Maharashtra on 16 February 1983. He studied up to Standard 10th at Shanti Niketan High School, Nanded and later joined Junior College with Arts and studied up to 12th Standard at Yashwant College,Nanded in Marathi medium.
Career In Films as Assistant Director
In 2004, Datta Kondiba Mirkute landed in Mumbai and started staying as a paying guest in Chembur. He then started visiting production houses and wanted to join Balaji Telefilms of producers Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor. After watching him stand outside the gates of Balaji Telefilms Studios in Andheri for one full month, the production manager of the serial Karam Apnaa Apnaa called him inside the sets and introduced him to director Sangieta Rao with whom Datta started his career as an assistant.. Datta worked only for six months with Balaji Telefilms. Immediately he got in touch with director Iqbal who was directing RADHA KI BETIYAN, produced by D.J.Productions. Then, Datta joined director Jeetu Arora who taught him shot compositions during the making of the serial RUNNJHUNN. His fourth director was Dinesh Anand with whom he worked for few months and finally his fifth director Raajiv Ruia also took Datta as his assistant in few of his films CHOR BAZAARI,Direct Ishq and one Marathi film YUDHH.
During 2015, Datta Mirkute got his first break as an independent writer-director of the film PREM SANKAT which he made in a modest budget of Rs. 1 crore only( this money includes cost of the film, publicity and also the digital costs and weekly rent for over 70 cinema halls ) . The film got released on all over Maharashtra on 14 October. The producers of PREM SANKAT Yuvraj Surwade and his wife Diksha Surwade wanted to introduce their son Raj Surwade in films and after hearing the story from Datta Mirkute which was a romantic,musical drama, the film took off with a non-stop 25 days shooting stint in Silvassa locales,Gujarat. Datta also trained the new actors Raj Surwade and the heroine Manisha Baghal who debuted as the romantic pair in the film besides another set of debutants Rahul Bhise,Ankita Parmar and Damini Dolas. As the lyricist also, Datta has written two songs 1) Mala Chand Lagala and 2) Jaude Jaude Tu Mala Jaude for PREM SANKAT.
Future Assignments
As the writer-director,Datta will now direct one Marathi film titled PREM MANJHE KAAY? ( What Is The Meaning Of Love),produced by Sushil Shinde of Rudra Film Productions . Another Hindi film, titled LOVE YOU, being written and directed by Datta will also go on the floors after the completion of the Marathi film PREM MANJHE KAAY..
Career as Writer
Datta Mirkute has been writing several scripts since the past many years. The script of PREM SANKAT was conceptualized by him and he wrote the screenplay and dialogue of the film too besides being the director of the film. Datta has also written the complete script( story, screenplay and dialogue)of the Marathi film PREM MANJHE KAAY ? and the Hindi film LOVE YOU.
Career as Actor
Datta Mirkute made his debut as an actor while being assistant for the Marathi film YUDH.and spoke one dialogue:'Dhar hey saara Ghadle tar police kaai karte':. In the Marathi film MR. & MRS. UNWANTED directed by Dinesh Anand. Datta played the role of a Pizza delivery boy.
