Azusa shooting

A shooting occurred in Azusa, California on November 8, 2016. It reportedly took place nearing a polling station for the United States elections, 2016 and at least one person died and three others were injured. The shooter allegedly fired over 19 rounds at police and officers returned fire. Later investigated indicated the shooter was on drugs.
Victims
Francis Varney, 70, was the only fatality aside from the shooter. Two women were also injured, including Elidia Dominguez, 65.
Aftermath
Two polling stations and a middle school were put on lockdown after the shooting.<ref name="independent"/>
