Da Hui is a punk rock song by The Offspring. It was the 11th track off their 2003 album Splinter. The song was written by Dexter Holland about a Hawaiian surfer gang by the same name. Alternate appearances The song also appears as the 15th track on the Japanese edition of The Offspring's Greatest Hits album as well as on Splinter. Music video The music video recorded for the song has Dexter and Noodles surfing before being beaten by Da Hui. It has a long Hawaiian-style music intro and the song starts as gang members spot Dexter and Noodles in the water. The members of Da Hui in the music video are actual gang members. The video is available on the enhanced CD portion of "Splinter." There is also a version of the video which contains audio commentary by Noodles and Dexter Holland. DVD appearances The music video also appears as an extra video on the Complete Music Video Collection DVD. It was released in 2005. The DVD also includes a "making of" video in which Dexter Holland and Noodles are shown befriending members of Da Hui while commenting on the making of the video.
