Conor Brian Quinn (born May 26, 1972) is a well known New Zealand writer, editor and entrepreneur. He was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and has been resident in New Zealand since October 1982. He was educated at the University of Waikato. His writing, assessment and editorial credits include Going As Far As I Can, Tarawera's Pink Terrace Children, All Aboard for Antarctica, Morepork the Babysitter and Her Many Friends and Pizzles in Paradise. Mr. Quinn has been a strong supporter of New Zealand writers for over 20 years. Mr. Quinn's entrepreneurial business interests involve companies he has created from the ground up, including BizStar International (established 2010), First Words In Fauna (established 2009) and Beat the Bookie (established 2011). He worked previously for Key Research Group and has consulted with high profile companies across Australasia, including Alliance Group, Nunwood APAC and ACS to improve business performance. Conor currently resides in Tauranga, New Zealand.
