Kaser Mehmood (born September 1982) is a British born Entrepreneur and Philanthropist. He is the founder and managing director of KZ Entertainment and has had a career spanning over ten years as a media and events consultant. Kaser has worked with a number of high profile celebrities, music artists and clients from across a spectrum of industries. He has created and delivered media and entertainment events including film premiers, live music concerts and charity events, for stars of Bollywood such as, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and British Olympian, Mo Farah. He has worked with AEG Live,- one of the largest live music and entertainment promoting companies in the world, including on its Michael Jackson’s . Presently, Mehmood is collaborating on a series of live music, arts and sporting events in Qatar, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the UK for delivery in 2013, alongside film projects. He is the subject of a film documentary which will be broadcast in 2013. Early Life Born in West Yorkshire, North England, Mehmood was raised in the Welsh city of Cardiff. He attended Leeds Metropolitan University, graduating in 2004 with a Bachelor Hons in marketing and multi-media technology. Career Following his graduation from Leeds Metropolitan University, Mehmood started his professional career working for a number of government agencies, including the UK government’s largest employment and training initiatives, Train to Gain. This was followed by his involvement with the 8 International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards held in Sheffield, England. In 2008, Mehmood established KZ Entertainment to offer high-level marketing and media services for clients and global brands wanting to access the burgeoning Asian consumer market across the globe. He has gone on to work with a number of Bollywood celebrities, including organising press conferences and media events for people such as for his film Jhootha Hi Sahi in October 2010. In 2011, Mehmood establish the Middle East office of KM Entertainment Q.L.L in Doha, Qatar where he has worked to raise global awareness of the country and its profile. More recently, Mehmood has been invited to meet some of the world’s most high-ranking celebrities and stars, including the former President of the United States, Bill Clinton. Philanthropy Mehmood has raised funds for several charities, including a fundraising benefit for the victims of the 2005 South Asian earthquake in collaboration with Rhythm Dhol Bass; and supporting Oxfam International's ‘Green Scarf’ campaign, alongside world renowned British actress Helen Mirren and Pakistan singer Hadiqa Kiyani, to highlight the plight of Afghan women and their human rights. Most recently, Mehmood has promoted the work of the Mo Farah Foundation, in support of education and schooling for children in Somalia He continues to work with a number of clients to promote their charitable causes.
