Marc Ellison

Marc Phillip Ellison (born 11 October 1986 in Lower Hutt, New Zealand) currently plays cricket for Glenelg in South Australian Grade Cricket, and for Radcliffe on Trent in the South Nottinghamshire Cricket League as the overseas amateur. He has captained the New Zealand Under-19 side in Youth ODIs. Ellison finished a First Class Honours Degree in History and Communication Studies (Media) from the University of Otago, while playing for the Carisbrook-Dunedin club and Otago 'A' from 2005-2008. When in Adelaide he is a free lance writer for www.cricinfo.com, previously he worked for www.sportal.co.nz as a free lance writer for the Otago region in 2007-08, and as a correspondent for the Otago Daily Times. Of Maori abstraction, he is one of the Ellison's from the Kaik on the Otago Peninsula.
