Christopher Tsai

Christopher Tsai, (born December 20, 1974, in Greenwich, Connecticut) is the youngest child and son of investor and deal maker Gerald Tsai, Jr. and his second wife Marlyn Tsai. He is currently the President and Chief Investment Officer of Tsai Capital Corporation, an investment management firm that he founded in 1997.

Personal life
He attended Brunswick School in Greenwich, Connecticut and graduated in 1993. Christopher attended Middlebury College as an undergraduate. He completed a major in philosophy and a minor in international politics. He has one sister, Veronica Tsai Trefzer, and a half-brother, Gerald Van Tsai. He married fashion designer and investor André Stockamp July 30, 2005 at the China Club Berlin in Berlin, Germany. They have since built together a significant collection of contemporary Chinese art and commissioned famed Chinese architect Ai Weiwei to design a house around their collection.

Career
Tsai bgan his professional career at an early age by working with his famed father, Gerald Tsai, Jr. He later went on to work as an intern for John A. Levin, a former partner of Michael Steinhardt and for Mario Gabelli at Gabelli Asset Management. He eventually joined Bear Stearns as an analyst in the equity research department and went on to found Tsai Capital Corporation at the age of 22. Tsai Capital has produced above average returns since inception and has been ranked as a top performing investment management firm. Tsai has been quoted in numerous business publications and has served as an expert consultant on equity securities to a prominent international law firm.
