Aris Sterodimas

Aris C. Sterodimas (born 1974 in Athens, Greece) is a plastic surgeon. Training Sterodimas was trained in general surgery at Mount Vernon Hospital (London, UK) under T.R.F. Paes and performed research at Imperial College's , where he acquired his Master's degree in surgery. He then trained in plastic surgery at the Santa Casa de Misericordia Hospital (Rio de Janeiro), where he worked with Ivo Pitanguy. Research Since 2004 Sterodimas has been actively involved in research of stem cell applications in the fields of regenerative plastic surgery and regenerative medicine. He has published 35 peer reviewed articles and 5 book chapters on the fields of plastic and reconstructive surgery. |
