Two point acupressure

Background
Two point acupressure is a variant of traditional chinese medicine acupressure. It is also known as Collateral Meridian Therapy (CMT) and Ko Medicine. It is a non-invasive acupressure technique developed over the last thirty years by Dr. Shan-Chi Ko. Dr. Ko formulated a mathematical model of 108 acupoints within the twelve collateral meridians essential for alleviating various degenerative systems of neurological origin. Traditional acupuncture utilizes a needle inserted into a single acupoint along one meridian to relieve obstruction of the vital flow, while CMT manipulates two precisely defined acupoints along two different meridians; one for interconnecting with the involved meridian, and the other for the treatment of the involved location in order to bypass the obstruction and restore the body's vital flow.
CMT has been clinically applied to treat various pains and degenerative symptoms such as sports injuries, frozen shoulder, carpal tunnel syndrome, migraine headache, diabetes, fibromyalgia, PHN, reflex sympathetic dystrophy/complex regional pain syndrome and others.
