Arawang Primary School

Arawang Primary School, is an Australian public K-6 school in Weston Creek, Australian Capital Territory. It opened in 1989. Arawang Primary School is one of the many schools operated by The ACT Department of Education.
School
Arawang Primary's current Principal is Ms. Jeni Page. It's school hours is from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Every morning when the bell goes, students sits down and listen to the teacher's announcements, and after that the teacher will call out who will be entering their classroom first. Arawang has high care for children, it has a few teachers who guards the students every Recess and Lunch. It has many lessons to be learned like Japanese Class, Music and Sports. In their Sports sometimes they get a Cross-country, In Arawang every term has different Cross-countries. It has 4 groups, as the 4 groups represents its House Colors, Bimberi represents Blue, Franklin for Red, Coree for Yellow and Gingera for Green. Arawang also has a Preschool to. They have an indoor Gym, 2 Playgrounds, A library, A canteen (You can order online and with a note) and a half field. Clothes
Arawang has different clothes for every different seasons or weather. It has a blue shorts and yellow short sleeved polo shirt for hot weather. Tracker pants or jogging pants joined together with thick jackets and a long sleeved polo shirt is perfect for cold temperatures. While girl's dress has tons to choose with, it has a dress shoulders to knee, a skirt and if it is a cold weather, it needs to have a leggings.
Classes and Teachers
Classes are named same in Arawang, for example if your teacher's last name is Herbert and your in Year 5, then your class must be 5H or if your in Year 2 and your teacher's last name is Frazier, then your 2F. In Arawang if your teacher is absent there, you can have a Relief Teacher (If there's one reserved). If his/her is absent and no reserved Relief Teachers, you will be split up into classes.
Students
In Arawang most students are in a different countries like Philippines, India, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Portugal, Pakistan, Japan, China, East Timor, Thailand and Indonesia. Most of foreign students are new and most of them are son/ daughter of a soldier.
Clubs
Every Lunchtime there is a club where you can go into and do something. Examples of Clubs in Arawang is: Dance, Ten pin bowling, circus, puzzles, cooperative games, oztag, paper crafts, chess, green team, writing, cartooning and Japanese.
