Alon Badat (born December 3, 1989 in Herzliya Pituah) is an Israeli soccer player who plays for York Lions. Playing career Badat began playing youth soccer with ANB Academy and graduated from the academy in 2006. Following his graduation Badat went abroad to his native Israel and signed with Maccabi Netanya Youth Team. He featured primarily in the reserve matches for Netanya. Towards the end of the season he was informed that he must serve the army, so he decided to move back to Canada. Badat returned to Canada and signed with the North York Astros. He made his debut on August 22, 2009, and also scored the first goal in a 3-2 victory over London City. Despite his efforts the Astros failed to achieve their repeat of last seasons success on the field, and finished second last in the National Division. In total he appeared in 7 matches and recorded one goal in his rookie season with the Astros. In September 2010 left Thornhill Soccer Club and attended the York University, who will play soccer for the York Lions. On 04 November 2010 earned the T. Litzen OUA West rookie of the year Award. Personal life Badat attended the York University in the late 2010 to learn Administrative Studies.
