Akili Roberts (born 1979) is a Quebec resident who is currently a criminal suspect in a London, Ontario jewellery store robbery with three other men Michael Paul Czajkowski, who is also charged with robbery and Sean Patrick McGrath and Richard Talisse who ultimately died in the incident. The get away from White Oaks Mall where the jewelery store was located turned into a highly publicized car chase in which a passenger fired a AR-15 rifle through a sunroof of a Mercedes SUV. After about 20 minutes the chase led to Highway 402, where the SUV made contact with a truck and rolled several times. Sean Patrick McGrath was pronounced dead at the scene while the three others were all taken to hospital where Richard Talisse was pronounced dead.

Roberts, born in Canada, lived in Miami, Florida for several years in the 1990s. In 1999, he was convicted on two counts of robbery, and served four years at the Brevard Correctional Institution. He was subsequently deported back to Canada in 2002, where he registered as a student at Concordia University and became a second-string football player for the Concordia Stingers in 2003 and 2004.

As of April 20th both Akili Roberts and Michael Paul Czajkowski have planned to plead guilty.
