Aangik Communications

Aangik Communications started its journey through production of a short film titled "Abortan" made in 16 mm format in 1988 that won best short film award in National Film Award. Then Aangik produced a documentary in 16mm titled "Vocational Training in Bangladesh” in 1990 and a short film titled "Dhusar Jatra" in 1992. "Dhusar Jatra" also received National Film Award as best short film. Aangik produced its first feature film “Kittonkhola” in 2000 in collaboration with Impress Telefilm Ltd. “Kittonkhola” received National Film Award in 2000 in nine categories including Best Film and Best Director. In 2004, Aangik produced another independent feature film titled “Shankhonad” jointly with Maasranga Productions Ltd. After that Aangik produced “Banshi, “Rupantor” and “Opekkha” in 2007, 2008 and 2010 respectively. These films have been showcased in various international film festivals in Europe, America and Asia. “Rupantor” received best film award from International Film Festival on Tribal art, Bhopal, India in 2009.
Aangik Communications worked as the technical supervisor for the motivational feature film "Misti Katha" produced by Sublime Media and supported by UNFPA and the feature film "Nirantor" produced by Impress Telefilm Ltd in 2004 and 2005.
Aangik Communications has produced various motivational films and documentaries in different format; also produced large number of fiction and non-fiction productions for TV channels of Bangladesh.
Aangik communications has got membership of the Bangladesh Film Producers and Distributors Association in 2003. It has a deep interactive relationship with the renowned personalities of different sectors, different production companies, technical institutions, Newspapers and TV channels.
